This brand new waterslide is the first new ride at Aquatica since it’s opening! 

Halfpipe, near vertical thrills send riders speeding down flumes into giant tunnels, sliding up one side and then the other, creating a near weightless feeling and ending with a splash in the pool below.

There are no height restrictions on this ride but you must be able to sit upright and hold the hand grips. Omaka Rocka has 2 slides with 3 funnels each which are partially enclosed with colorful translucent tubes so people waiting to ride will be able to see you flying along from below. 

Come drag your friends along for the screams and fun of it on the "rocking river"

Come join your child’s favorite Sesame Street friends in a new playland at Busch Gardens!  This family friendly safari adventure celebrates the spirit of Africa with new rides, shows and adventures and features Big Bird, Elmo and all their friends.

Splash down in Bert and Ernie’s Watering Hole, a new shallow-water play area that will feature bubblers, geysers, jets, water guns and all kinds of splashy fun. Climb around Elmo’s Tree House, a 3 story getaway with views all over the area. Go for a spin on the Air Grover family roller coaster which has been designed to allow parents and children to ride together. Or take a spin on Elmo’s Safari Go-Round, a tribal inspired carousel. 

In addition to the attractions and play areas, everyone will enjoy watching their favorite characters from Sesame Street in the 4-D theater located in Timbuktu. "Sesame Street Presents Lights, Camera, Imagination" bringing the Muppets adventures to life with crazy gags and special 4-D effects like wind and water simulations.

There will also be photo ops with the characters and unique dining experiences like breakfast or lunch with Elmo and Friends on select days.

Located an hour east of Orlando, Kennedy Space Center is well worth a visit.  It is open from 9am to 5:30pm daily and your family will enjoy a day exploring the wonders of space. 

Strap in and experience the sights, sounds and sensations of a shuttlle launch at the Shuttle Launch Experience at the Visitors center! Then walk over and explore the shuttle nearby, it is tiny compared to the giant job it does.

Take a tour out to the Apollo / Saturn 5 Center and look in awe at the size of the Saturn 5 rocket. This immense rocket makes you marvel at the bravery of the the astronauts strapped on to it as they were hurled into space on their way to the moon.   It truly was a leap of faith.

Spend an hour watching the IMAX movies describing the making of the International Space Station and walk on the moon in 3D!

The Space Mirror Memorial is located at the Visitors Center, stop for a moment and watch the sun highlight the names of the astronauts who have fallen along the way as we reach for the stars.

Kennedy Space Center is open year round except for December 25th and certain launch days.

This one mile self guided tour opens February 13th and gives you the background to 10 of Gatorland’s best known gators.

Included are their 4 white, or leucistic, gators who are among Gatorland’s biggest stars. These beauties are not albino but have small patches of pigment around their mouths and tails and bright blue eyes. Among the rarest of gators, they live in their special habitats protected from the sun and other males who see them as prey due to their color.

"Mania" is another one of the stars of the show. A big bull gator, he was caught down in a small pond near Miami airport where he had been known to chase fishermen along the bank. Gatorland handlers call him psycho for they never know quite how he’ll react to his surroundings.

"Toxic" has a strangely shaped head and has been called a good gator by his handlers who say he’ll come right up to you and try to eat you.

The Mile of Monsters stars 10 "monsters" for now but is scheduled to increase to 24 in the future. Come on over and spend the day at one of Florida’s original attractions. You can even eat some gator nuggets too!
